1. Who we are

This website is operated by Thunder Plumbing Inc, doing business as Thunder & Lightning Services, at 3456 Webster Ave, Perris, CA 92571.

We hold California contractor licence #902886, carrying a C-36 Plumbing classification and a B General Building classification, current and active since 2007. You can and should verify that yourself at cslb.ca.gov by entering the number.

2. Using this website

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

You agree not to:

• Submit false information, or submit enquiries on behalf of someone who has not asked you to
• Use automated tools to submit the contact form
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems
• Copy the content of this site for use on another business's website

3. The information here is general, not advice about your property

The service pages and guides on this site describe how this kind of work is generally done. They are written carefully and, in the guides, every factual claim cites its source. They are still general information.

They are not an assessment of your building, your plumbing or your insurance policy. Nobody can diagnose a slab leak, scope a water loss or tell you what your policy covers from a web page. Do not rely on anything here in place of having someone look at the actual property, and do not rely on our summaries of insurance or code requirements in place of reading your own policy or speaking to your building department.

4. Estimates and quotes

Nothing on this website is a quote or a binding offer of price.

A price becomes real when we have looked at the job and given you a written estimate. On restoration work in particular, scope frequently changes once walls are opened and moisture readings come back, and any change to the scope will be discussed with you before the work is done.

Any actual work we perform is governed by the written contract or work authorisation you sign for that job, not by this website. Where the two ever conflict, the signed document controls.

5. Emergency response

We answer the phone 24 hours a day and we respond to emergencies as fast as we practically can. We deliberately do not publish a guaranteed response time, because it depends on where you are, what else is running and what the job needs. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise that someone will arrive within a particular number of minutes or hours. If you have an emergency, call (951) 479-7038 and we will tell you honestly when we can be there.

6. Insurance claims

We document damage, take moisture readings, keep drying logs, produce an itemised scope, and communicate factually with your adjuster about the work.

We do not negotiate insurance claims on your behalf and we cannot. In California, acting for compensation on behalf of an insured in negotiating or settling a property claim requires a public insurance adjuster licence. We are contractors. Nothing on this site is a promise about what your insurer will cover, pay or approve, and coverage decisions are entirely your carrier's.

7. Financing

We are not a lender. Where financing is mentioned on this site, it is provided by a third-party lender, and approval, rates, terms and the credit decision are entirely theirs. We do not publish rates or payment figures because the only numbers that matter are the ones on the offer you personally receive. See our financing page for what we can and cannot tell you.

8. Links to other sites

This site links to third parties, including the Contractors State Licence Board, the US Environmental Protection Agency, California Legislative Information, our Google Business Profile and our Yelp page. We link to those so you can check our claims against the source. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

9. Website disclaimer

This website is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every piece of information on it is current at the moment you read it. Codes, standards and insurance practices change. This disclaimer applies to the website. It does not limit any warranty we give you in writing on work we actually perform.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Thunder Plumbing Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your rights in relation to work we perform under a signed contract.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute relating to this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
