A plumbing company that also does restoration
That order matters. Most restoration companies show up after the water has already done its damage and have to call a plumber to stop it. We are the plumber.
When a supply line lets go at midnight, one company shuts the water off, repairs the line, extracts the water and dries the house. You are not coordinating between a plumber who can come Tuesday and a restoration crew who needs the leak stopped first.
What C-36 actually means
California license 902886 carries a C-36 plumbing classification and a B general building classification, and it has been active since 2007. You can look it up yourself at cslb.ca.gov by entering the number.
We mention it because in this trade the license, the bond and the workers compensation coverage are the things that separate a real contractor from a truck. Ask anyone you are considering for their number and check it.
We will tell you when it is not worth fixing
A twelve year old water heater with a failing tank is not a repair, it is a replacement waiting three months. A cast iron drain line that has been snaked four times is not going to be fixed by a fifth.
We would rather tell you that up front than take the repair money and see you again in the spring.

Do you really answer at night?
Yes. Plumbing emergencies do not wait for business hours, and a burst supply line at 1am is not something that can sit until morning.

Yes. Thunder Plumbing Inc, doing business as Thunder & Lightning Services, holds California license #902886 with C-36 plumbing and B general building classifications, active since 2007, with a contractor's bond and workers compensation coverage on file with the state.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
Yes. Residential and commercial both.
What should I do while I wait for you?
For an active leak, shut off the water. The main shutoff is usually near the front hose bib, at the meter by the street, or in the garage. For a water heater leak there is a shutoff on the cold inlet at the top of the tank. Call us and we will help you find it.
Do you give estimates before starting?
Yes. You get a price before work begins. On jobs where we have to open something up to see the full extent, we will tell you that clearly rather than quoting a number we would have to change later.
What if the plumbing problem already caused water damage?
Then you are in the right place. We repair the plumbing and handle the extraction, drying and rebuild under the same license. That is unusual and it is the reason this company looks the way it does.
